Cathy J. Lahti passed away on June 2, 2015. Cathy came to Arizona in 1967 to study at ASU. She worked at PBS Eight for 15 years, retiring in 2012. Her favorite responsibility at Eight was as an on-air talent for their semi-annual pledge drives. Cathy is survived by her husband Chet, a sister, two children and three grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, Wednesday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to charities supporting lung cancer research or community reading programs.
