Carolyn Joyce Welsh

Carolyn Joyce Welsh worked as a secretary for the Department of Psychology at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and for the Department of Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

After retiring, she spent many years volunteering for the Heard Museum, working in their bookstore and gift shop, as well as serving on the museum's board.

She is preceded in death by Gene Welsh, her husband of 58 years, and a great-granddaughter.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Forrest Ashley; three daughters. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held December 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's on the Desert Episcopal Church, 12990 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, Arizona.
