ASU remembers
Carolyn Havens
Carolyn Havens, 79, passed away on May 8, 2017. She entered ASU on full scholarship after winning the National Science Fair scholarship for Arizona. After two years of college she continued working for ASU in several capacities through the 1960's. After divorcing, she married Bill Quinn who moved the family to Silver City, NM in 1968. Later she worked for Western New Mexico University as an instructor until 1993 when she became a registered appraiser. After her husband, Bill, passed away, she married Kenneth Havens. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, two sons, a granddaughter, four step children, numerous step grand children and great grand children, a brother and sister. She was preceded in death by three step children. Please donate to your favorite charity or the Silver City Woman's Club. A graveside service was held on May 12, 2017 at The Masonic Cemetery.
