Carol F. Salz, 85, passed away on January 15, 2009. Carol was a graduate of Clarke University in Dubuque, IA, and worked for many years in the ASU library. She kept active and is honored by a memorial plaque at the Tempe Pyle Recreational Center. There is also a memorial bench for Carol and Don at the Dubuque Arboretum.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Don and a daughter. She is survived by five children, 10 grandchildren and five siblings. A Funeral Mass was held on January. 21, 2009 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 2121 S. Rural Rd., in Tempe. Burial was in Dubuque, Iowa.
