Carmen lived and worked in Tempe her entire life; first as a nurse, then as the Administrative Assistant in the Physics Department at Arizona State University.

Carmen enjoyed reading historical mysteries, planning trips and traveling with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul. She is survived by her two sons and two daughters, a grandson, a brother, two sisters  and a large extended family.

Funeral services were held on September 8.
