Robert (Bob) Francis retired in June 2002 after 33 years of employment at ASU. An alumnus of ASU ('69 BA/Ed, '74 MA/Ed, '77 BA/Art), Bob assisted the ASU Retirees Association as its Homecoming Chair. He also served as Chair of the Video History Project and was on the Board from 2006 to 2009. While at ASU, Bob served as Assistant Director and Editor of the ASU Alumni Association in the early 1970s, Coordinator of New Student Programs (Orientation) from late 1970s to 1997 in Undergraduate Admissions, and as Executive Coordinator of Greek Life (fraternities and sororities) in Student Development form 1997-2002. Bob also served as advisor to ASU's Devils' Advocates student organization for almost 25 years (1971-1995).
