Betty M. Mason, 89, passed away January 20, 2013. She met and married Jerry Mason in 1944 in Des Moines Iowa. They moved to Arispe, Iowa where Betty worked as the town telephone switchboard operator. They, with their two sons, Tommy and Waverlee, moved to Mesa in 1960. Jerry worked for many years in ASU’s Facility Management Air Conditioning Shop, and son Tommy currently works in Facility Management at ASU. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Jerry. She is survived by two sons, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Heimarck Memorial Chapel at Mesa Good Shepherd, 5848 East University Drive, Mesa, AZ 85205.
