Bennie C. Robinson

Bennie C. Robinson, 85, passed away on September 21, 2021. He earned a PhD from the University of Denver, an MSW from Indiana University and a BA from Roosevelt University in Chicago. He was the former Director of Community Programming for FIBCO Family Services Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona. He was also a Community Affiliate with the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center at ASU, and he taught at ASU in the College of Public Programs, School of Social Work. The Zion Institute, a Phoenix social service agency where Robinson served as consultant and strategist, will honor his memory by naming their future library and learning center in his name. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to a charity or cause of your choosing in Dr. Robinson's name. (Source: ASU Foundation)
