Rebecca "Becky" Reinhard Foreman

Rebecca (Becky) Reinhard Foreman attained her bachelor's and master's degrees in harp performance at the University of Southern California, studying under Susann McDonald and JoAnn Turovsky. For twelve years, Becky enjoyed playing harp regularly in a variety of venues throughout the L.A. Metro, including a longstanding engagement providing dinner music at the Biltmore Hotel.

From the 1990s onward, Becky was active as a harp instructor in both Phoenix and Tucson, and her students went on to place in state-level and national competitions. Between 2000 and 2007 she was professor of harp at Arizona State University and from 1998 to 2024 was a music educator with Amphitheater Public Schools in Tucson.

In addition to a steady string of solo and small ensemble performances, Becky served as principal harpist with the Tucson Pops Orchestra, the Flagstaff Symphony, and the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra (SASO), with whom she had the opportunity to tour throughout China.

Becky was preceded in death by her mother Shirley and stepmother Thelma Reinhard, as well as her father J. William Reinhard and stepbrother.

She is survived by her husband Ronald, two sons, a sister, two step-siblings, a dog and many more friends and family.

A memorial and celebration of life service for Becky was held on June 20, 2026.
