Barry Lamar Draper attended Phoenix College and graduated from Arizona State University. He dedicated his life to education, serving as a math teacher at Washington High School and teaching part-time at ASU West, Grand Canyon University, and Glendale Community College. Barry was always willing to tutor anyone who needed help in math, even over the phone, and he committed fifty years to his career. He enjoyed a few hobbies, including stamp collecting and hiking. Barry was also musically talented, playing the piano, organ, and trumpet. Barry is survived by his wife Ginger, two daughters, his two grandchildren, and his great grandson. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his two older sisters and his many wonderful nieces, nephews and in laws. A Celebration of Life was held on August 30, 2025. |
