At ASU about 1960s
December 21, 2025
Barbara A Teague, following an adventurous early life in beautiful Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona, where she worked on the campus of ASU,
Barbara returned to Hickory and put her entrepreneurial skills to the test, eventually owning and operating 4 separate businesses.
As a young single mother, by age 34, Barbara owned a thriving business and built a home in Taylorsville that she owned mortgage-free. She never paid another mortgage (with the exception of one married into and helped pay it off in short order). Barbara parlayed her passion and gifted green thumb into the very successful Little Green Things Greenhouses & Nursery, which she operated in Hildebran with her husband, the late Lewis Lynn, and her amazing team.
Barbara is survived by her three devoted children along with her eight grandchildren and 17 lovely great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her younger brother, two nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her late parents, Frank W. and Pearlee Bolick Teague, Barbara was preceded in death by her older brother and her precious niece.
A celebration life was held on January 31, 2026.
