Barbara Jean Register, 96, passed away on December 28, 2018. In 1959 she, her husband and children moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She worked for the Scottsdale School District, the Scottsdale Justice Court and at ASU’s College of Nursing. She retired from the College of Nursing in 1987. After retirement Barbara volunteered at the College of Nursing Community Health Clinics for several years. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Frank Register, and a sister. She is survived by two sons, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private grave side service will be held on the morning of Saturday February 9, 2019, followed by a celebration of Barbara's life at the First Baptist Church of Scottsdale 12:00 - 2:00 pm. The church is located at 7025 E. Osborn Road. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to a favorite charity. (Source: Arizona Republic)
