After retiring from ASU (Architecture, and University Technology Office and its predecessor organizations) in June 2008, Barbara stepped-out with her first-ever entrepreneurial venture doing what she loved the most over the course of her 30+ year career at ASU:  Planning and Organizing just about anything!  Barbara established Events by Barbara, which combines her love of entertaining, music (she plays piano and music of many styles), art and architecture, and travel worldwide.
