Allen Beach Moore

Allen Beach Moore, 81, passed away July 17, 2015. Allen completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, and graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1958. After residencies at the University of Cincinnati, Bayfront Hospital at St. Petersburg, Florida, and Saginaw General Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, Allen began private practice in Essexville, Michigan. He then served as Associate Corporate Medical Director for International Harvester Corporation in Chicago. He returned to Michigan in 1969, for private practice in Bay City, and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1980. He served as Associate Director of Family Practice Residency and Corporate Director of Health and Environmental Systems at Good Samaritan Hospital, and Medical Director for Biosystems Institute in Tempe, the Biltmore Health Center in Phoenix and Salt River Project. Allen served as an instructor at ASU, University of Arizona School of Medicine, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, the nursing program at Saginaw Valley State College, and various EMT, police academy, and ski patrol programs. Allen and his wife relocated to Dana Point, California, in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, four children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Allen was predeceased by a brother. At his request, services were not held.
