Alice Punkal Conner graduated from Miami University with a BS in Education in 1972 before moving to Arizona to pursue her Master of Science in Education at Arizona State University.

She had a fulfilling career working with Planned Parenthood for 38 years as the Director of Human Resources and later the Director of Affiliate HR Consulting. In addition to her work at Planned Parenthood, she taught Business Management courses at ASU for 19 years.

Her ASU teachings expanded beyond the non-profit sector to the corporate sector; teaching classes for managers at Bashas, PetSmart, Triumph Air Repair, Syntellect and 2Wire. Alice obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 1993. She retired in 2015 and continued independent consulting for several years.

A Memorial Service was held on January 20th. Donations can be made in her memory to Planned Parenthood and Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA).
