October 2022 - 2023 ADOA open enrollment seminar

   

Tracie Carruthers, Plan Administrator from ADOA in the Benefits Services Division of ADOA, presented the options available from ADOA.  This is a passive enrollment this year, so if you are not making any changes to plans, dependents, etc., you do not need to enroll.  Tracie mentioned that there are no changes to the medical plans for this year.  There will be a premium increase, but the State is going to absorb that cost.  There is a change in the dental DHMO plan.  UnitedHealthCare Solstice S800B will be replacing Cigna Dental.  Cigna Dental members will automatically be enrolled in the Solstice plan, so no action is required, unless you want to change to Delta Dental.  She reminded us that there are some network availability restrictions in certain states/territories.  These can be found in the enrollment guide, or on the slide in the presentation slide deck.

 

The dates for open enrollment are October 31 – November 18.  Enrollment will only be online, no paper enrollment forms will be offered.
