Minutes for November 15, 2022

The November ASURA Board Meeting was held on November 15, 2022.  On the financial front, the amount we received for the University (HR) allocation is now reflected in the budget.  A discrepancy of $2000 is showing between the Event Registration Fees Collected and the Paid Events.  This is due to not all the fees for the Northern Arizona trip not being collected.  The Scholarship account is getting close to $100K.  The Video History Project committee will be meeting to select the next set of interviews that will be performed.  The Holiday Potluck will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in CSB 330-333. A recap of the latest trips to Iceland, Northern Arizona and Tovrea Castle tour was given by John Brock and Tara Roesler. A discussion was held on the proposed speaker for the Annual Meeting as well as the location for the meeting.  The adhoc Annual Meeting Committee will be pursuing the location options presented at the meeting and report back to the Board.
