Minutes for March 14, 2023

The ASURA Board met on March 14, 2023.  The financial report was reviewed and Barry mentioned that the budgeted amount listed for event registration fees collected and paid may seem low because this is the expected activity at the time the budget was created.  Barry also put together a report that shows the type and amount of contributions made to the ASURA by the members since the beginning of FY 2023.  The Scholarship Committee has received the scholarship applications from the Scholarship Office and will be making their decision for this year’s recipient in the next few weeks.  Over 60 people attended the luncheon at Friendship Village.  This was one of the best attended social events we’ve had.  The newly elected Board members were approved by the Board.  The Annual Meeting will take place on April 19, 2023 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am at Ability 360.  The event announcement is up on the ASURA website and open for registration.  Notices will be sent out to the general membership shortly.
