William "Bill" Maurice Gorman, Jr., 76, passed away March 26, 2016. He played baseball at ASU graduating in 1962 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He worked as the Ticket Manager for ASU before becoming the General Manager of the Single A Visalia Mets (New York Mets organization) for three seasons. He worked for 31 seasons as GM with the AAA Omaha Royals (Kansas City Royals organization) and four seasons with the AAA Fresno Grizzlies (San Francisco Giants organization). He ended his working career as the sales manager for Boomers, a family amusement park. He was active with the ASU Baseball Alumni group. Bill leaves behind wife, Linda, ex-wife Janet, their two children, three grandchildren and three siblings.
