Wesley Brandt, 81, passed away September 10, 2021. Wesley attended the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, where he received a degree in plumbing. He worked for many years for ASU.



Wes enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country in Korea before being honorably discharged in 1969.



He married Janis Christianson in 1961; the couple later divorced. Wes remarried in 1978 to Delores Mock. They made their home in the Glenburn area until 1982 when they moved to Mesa. After retirement they maintained a winter residence in Mesa and a summer residence in Granville, ND. He was a member of the VFW.

Surviving Wes are one daughter, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two siblings and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Wes was preceded in death by his wives, Janis and Delores Brandt, three brothers and a sister. A funeral was held on September 15, 2021, at the American Legion in Upham, ND followed by interment at the Bloomfield Cemetery, Upham, ND. Memorials are preferred to any Alzheimer or dementia organization. (Source: ASU Foundation)
