Wayne Wesley Luchsinger, 91, died March 28, 2016. He received a Purple Heart during WW II while serving in the Army. After the military, he earned a doctorate in Bio-Chemistry and became a university professor. He taught in the Chemistry Department at  ASU from 1966 until he retired in 1984. He is survived by a sister, a daughter, two sons and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Sadie in 2007, second wife Geraldine in 2015 and a daughter in 1986.
