Virginia Juliene Aldape

Virginia Juliene Aldape, 71, died June 5, 2015. Virginia went to Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas, earning a bachelor's degree (1970), followed by her master's degree (1972). She began her professional career, first as a Rehabilitation Counselor at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota. After 7 years in Minnesota, she accepted a counseling position at ASU in Tempe, Arizona. Then she transferred to San Diego, where she was a Counselor in Disabled Student Services at San Diego State University; later, she became a Crisis Counselor for San Diego County Mental Health. She retired from the Veteran's Administration as a Caregiver Coordinator. Virginia is survived by five siblings and numerous relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 15 at St. John's Cathedral, Boise. Memorial donations will be accepted at the Disabled American Veterans local office, 444 W Fort Street, Room 143, Boise 83702 and Shriners Hospital for Children , Fairfax Road & Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
