Victor Tidwell

After serving in the Air Force, Dr. Victor H. Tidwell began his teaching career at Kansas State and University of Iowa while he obtained a doctorate degree.  

Vic then relocated to Tempe where he was a professor at Arizona State University for 27 years. 

He touched many lives while volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Thomas J Pappas School, Red Cross, food banks and adult literacy.

Vic was predeceased by his wife Ann, parents William and Editha Tidwell, and his son. 

He is survived by his daughter, two grandsons, two stepchildren, a niece and nephew.

A memorial service and reception was held April 5th  at University Lutheran Church, Tempe followed by interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
