Tom Pratt,62, passed away December 4, 2012. Tom was a member of the Chicago Cubs baseball organization. Over the course of two decades he led two Prescott-area high school baseball teams to state championships. Tom also served as a coaching assistant at ASU and the University of Nebraska. As a pitching coach for the Chicago Cubs' organization farm teams, he helped coach pitchers for over 10 years. Altogether, Tom spent more than 40 years in the sport he loved as a player, coach, and as a scout for the Montreal Expos and Anaheim Angels. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Peggy, a son, daughter, his mother and numerous nieces and nephews.
