Todd H. Langley

Todd H. Langley, 78, died January 15, 2013. Todd is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fran, three children, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Todd received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and he also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He served in the U.S. Army. Todd worked for The Arizona Bank (now Bank of America Arizona) for thirty years. He retired as Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer in 1990. Todd was an active volunteer in many organizations including the Red Cross--locally, regionally and nationally. He received the Harriman Award, the highest Red Cross volunteer recognition in 1997. Recently Todd was recognized for over 30 years on the board of Junior Achievement of Arizona where he also served as a classroom volunteer. For many years Todd recorded textbooks for Learning Ally. During the past several years he served in leadership positions for the American Humanics and the Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation in the College of Public Programs at ASU. A Memorial service will be held at St. Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church, 6715 N. Mockingbird Lane, Scottsdale at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 21st. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the St. Barnabas Foundation, the Grand Canyon Chapter of the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement of Arizona or Learning Ally.
