Tim E. Wheeler Beloved husband, uncle and friend, Tim E. Wheeler passed away on Friday, April 21, 2006 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Aviator, S M/Sgt USAF (Retired) Wheeler served his country with distinction for 37 years in the US Air Force and the Arizona Air National Guard. Tim was called Air Force One by his many friends in the military. During his career he was honored with many special awards. He was born November 5, 1919, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He met his wife, Dottie, during WWII. They moved to Arizona in 1955. Tim worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 31 years, primarily at Arizona State University. After retirement, he continued his association with his many friends at the Guard. He also enjoyed a third career as a Ranger at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club and he played a little golf too. He will be very missed by his loving wife of 60 years, and their family and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Smyth and his brother David.
