Ted grew up in Northern Pennsylvania, graduated from Williamson High School, married his high school sweetheart and began a career in building construction. In 1977 the family including his wife Carol and four sons moved to Tempe, Arizona.

During his 27+ years at ASU Ted held various progressively responsible positions. He attended college nights and weekends earning a degree in Management. After retiring in 2005 from his position as Director of Capital Programs Management, he has stayed active as an Emeritus member of RMA & APPA.

Ted enjoys his family including 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and spending time at their summer home in Forest Lakes where he is a member of the Fire Department and part time ambulance driver. He also enjoys many hobbies including hiking, hunting and music.
