Sharon Luth Furcone, 50, passed away February 23, 2015. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from ASU in 1987, and her Ph.D. in Materials Science from M.I.T. in 1993. Following a Postdoctoral Fellowship at ASU (1993-1995), she joined Motorola. She became a Product Analysis Lab Manager at Freescale Semiconductor in 2009. She is survived by her husband, Emanuel; a son, parents, sister, brother and other relatives. A funeral mass was held on March 3 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St. Chandler, AZ 85225.
