Sallie Lee Terman, 83, died July 2, 2014. She is survived by two sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers and two cousins. Sallie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and a son. She earned degrees in Psychology and Criminology, Public Relations and Media Studies, Criminal Justice, and a teaching scholarship in Urban education. After receiving her Master's degree in Criminal Justice, she taught classes in Criminology, Law in America, and Deviance at NAU. She also taught Public Relations classes at ASU. She was a professor at Scottsdale Community College up until the time of her death, teaching classes in Criminology, including Sex Crimes and Serial and Mass Murder. The curriculum for the Serial and Mass Murder class was developed by Sallie and her late husband, Earl. She was a frequent lecturer on the subject of Jewish gangsters. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 6, at Sinai Mortuary, 4538 N. 16th Street, Phoenix, AZ, followed by her burial at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale, AZ.
