Russell James Meyers, 76, passed away April 7, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Eleanor Mendez, four children, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and five siblings. Russ was preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings and one son. After entering the Air Force in 1952 and serving as an Air Force airplane mechanic for 10 years, he moved to Tempe Arizona where he met his future wife and settled to raise his family. While living in Arizona, he worked at ASU for over 10 years and a few other plumbing companies before retiring from Tri-City Mechanical.
