Ronald Edward Barr, 80, passed away on October 7, 2016. Ron was a graduate of St. Louis University. He transitioned from radiation research to university administration at the University of Missouri and then worked in administration at Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio. From 1986 to 2002 he served as Associate VP for Research at ASU. He is survived by his wife Jean, four children, eight grandchildren and four siblings.
