Robert Augustus Simmons received Bachelor and Masters degrees in Applied Arts at Central Michigan and Bowling Green Universities. 

His first job as a student advisor was at Arizona State University, followed by University of Michigan, and finally Empower Group Inc. 

Bob was predeceased by maternal Grandmother Judith Kelemen, paternal Grandparents Marian and Robert Simmons, and cousin Jennifer Peleritto.

While working at ASU he met his partner Nick Pecor, he survives in Arizona. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law, his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

 A celebration of Life will be in St. Petersburg, Fla. on December 28, 2024.
