Robert Paul Rowland

Robert Paul Rowland (Bob), 86, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. Bob and his family moved to Arizona in 1966. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the Philippines. Bob attended an automotive trade school after he was discharged from the service then later went into retail sales which he worked at for 35 years. His wife, MaryAnn, began working at ASU in 1968. She worked in the Registrar’s Office and then in HR until she retired in 1994. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his wife MaryAnn, a son, daughter, four grandchildren, three great grand children, two step-grandsons, four step great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services for Bob are pending. His ashes will be buried in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetary in Pershing, IA at a later date, right across the road from where he was born.
