Robert Briney, 68, passed away on June 18, 2013. Bob graduated from Alfred University in 1966. He moved to Arizona to attend Arizona University Law School. Upon graduation, he served in the Army as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corp for four years. Bob founded and served as the director of the Maricopa County Office of the Legal Defender from 1995 until his retirement in 2009. Bob was a professor of law at ASU, a judge, a tennis champion and President of the Biltmore Greens III-IV Homeowners Association. Bob is survived by a brother, an aunt, cousins, a niece and nephew.
