Ralph E. St. John Jr., 79, passed away on October 7, 2014. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law and sister. After serving two years in the army and earning his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan, he worked for IBM for over 20 years. In 1981 he earned his PhD at ASU where he worked as a computer science professor until 1985. He taught computer programming at Montgomery College, Germantown MD campus until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, three sons,  two daughters, three stepsons, 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. (Source: ASU Foundation)
