Phyllis Patricia Wagoner
Teaching Asst. in Art Department
Phyllis Patricia Wagoner, 86, died on April 2, 2011. After raising her family Phyllis returned to school at ASU where she finished bachelor's and master's degrees in fine art. She was a teaching assistant in the Art Department at ASU for two years and then taught at Central Arizona College for 20 years before retiring. She was Arts Division chair for 11 years. She was a member of the Casa Grande Arts and Humanities Commission, charter member of the Casa Grande Art Museum, charter member of the Pinal County Fine Arts Council and founding member and director of the College for Kids program at CAC for many years. Survivors include two sons, two sisters, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Wagoner, a daughter, an infant son, a brother, sister and a great-grandson.
