Philip Glenn Stiles
Taught Agribusiness - 1970 to 1997
Philip Glenn Stiles, 85, passed away on December 31, 2016. He earned his bachelor’s from the University of Colorado and University of Arkansas, his Masters from the University of Kentucky, and his PhD from Michigan State University. He taught agribusiness at ASU from 1970-1997 and ten years at the University of Connecticut. He was the Peace Corps Representative for ASU for 25 years. He was a mediator for the United States Forest Service. Dr. Stiles worked on many international development projects with the World Bank and the United States Agency for International Development. He was married for 56 years to Dr. Cathleen Hash Stiles. He is survived by one daughter, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, and his wife’s family.
