Peter Morton Eichler, 76, passed away on April 2, 2013. Peter is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wendie, a son, a sister and six nieces and nephews. Peter graduated from Wesleyan University (CT) in 1957 and earned his J.D. from Columbia University in 1960. Peter practiced law for 53 years as a partner in firms in NY, CA and AZ. He was most recently of Counsel to Weiss & Moy, P.C. in Scottsdale. He was recognized around the globe for his pioneering work in entertainment and business intellectual property law. He was honored numerous times as one of the Best Lawyers in America and was an adjunct professor at ASU's Barrett Honors College. Keeping exactly to his wishes, a small, private brunch "party" was held in Scottsdale to celebrate his life. Donations are encouraged to the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale Breast Cancer Center.
