Pauline worked many years for Marriott International in their food services department at Arizona State University.

After her retirement, she traveled to many countries which include Norway and Sweden to visit her ancestral homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Mabel Scharberg and her older brother. Pauline is survived by her husband Bill, her two sisters, her daughter, her two sons and daughter's-in-law, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildlren and one great-great grandchild.
