Paul E. McClellan

Paul E. McClellan, Lt. Col. (Ret), 79, died May 28, 2013. After attending Beloit College and LaCrosse College, he entered the USAF, became a pilot and flew B-47s, B-52s and Huey helicopters. He was awarded the Silver Star, 3 DFCs, Purple Heart and 7 Air Metals while serving in Vietnam. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from ASU with a Master's Degree in Engineering and later received a MBA. In 1975, he retired from the USAF and began a career as a Civil Engineer. He worked for State of Arizona, ASU, Motorola, SRP, Air Grand Canyon, and the City of Casa Grande, retiring again in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Melva, a son, two daughters, eight grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother. A Celebration of Life will be held in Arizona with his family and friends. At a later date a military service will be held at the Shopiere Cemetery.
