Pat started at ASU back in 1985 in Computing Services (now known as Enterprise Technology). Here she worked in various roles over the past 31+ years, from database administration, to network management, and project management, supporting the University’s computing initiatives.
Pat received her AA degree in accounting/data processing from the Fox Valley Technical College in 1974. She then received her BA in Philosophy and BS in Political Science from ASU in 1999. She has since received an MA in Political Philosophy/Theology from Notre Dame University. She is an avid student and has completed certificate programs in Doctrine and Divinity, Catechesis, and Scripture from Notre Dame.
Pat has been actively involved in ASURA for the past 8 years. She was a Board member from 2017-2020 and 22-23, Secretary of the Board from 2018-2020 and 22-23, Government Liaison Committee from 2019-2024 and Seminars Committee from 2017-present including Chair of the Committee from 2021-2024.
Pat retired in 2017 and spends her time gardening (she grows all her own vegetables year-round), reading, pen and ink drawing, water color painting, taking online classes and volunteering at her local library. She decided to expand on her musical talents and for the past 3 years has been studying the frame drum with a Grammy nominated frame drum musician/composer/instructor. She also shares her time with her two black cats – Boris and Natasha!
