After graduating high-school, I joined academia and never left till recently. Last year (2021) I left the ivory towers to retire with Emeritus status. As a faculty of Computer Science, I did the trifecta of Research, Teaching and Service for about 36 years. Which translates to Funding and Publications. I have held faculty positions at Georgia Tech, New York University and ASU. My interests were in Cryptography, Operating Systems, Security and Sensor Networking. Using the skills learned in science, technology and innovation, I have pivoted to Cooking.

Currently, I am learning how to be retired and how to be boring (and a cook). A boring life is predictable and stress free, over the excitement of drama and uncertainties. Then I will make the world a better place after I grow up and learn my pronouns.
