Neil V. Cohen
Neil V. Cohen,48, passed away on December 8, 2012. Passionate about theater, Neil spent his last moments on the stage. But the show could not go on when he could not be revived after suffering chest pains and collapsing backstage during a performance of a murder mystery in which he was performing. Neil graduated from ASU where he studied theater. He acted, and later directed for several local theater groups, including the interactive dinner-theater group Murder Ink. Neil wrote movie and theater reviews and entertainment articles for Echo Magazine. He worked as a residential property manager, most recently as an assistant manager for Mark-Taylor Residential. Preceded in death by his father, David Cohen, a noted composer and professor of music at ASU, and his mother, Dorothy, a supporter of progressive causes. Survivors include two sisters, a niece and two nephews.
