Murray Donald Sirkis, 88, passed away on October 18, 2015. His career took him from MIT and the University of Illinois to Rutgers University, West Point Military Academy and ASU, where he was Emeritus Professor, Electrical Engineering. He was named Outstanding Professor and served as president of the Faculty Senate. In retirement, he volunteered, teaching math to at-risk high school students and to women incarcerated in the state prison. He is survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, great grandchildren and a brother. He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores Sirkis, and a daughter. The family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice. His favorites included ALS Association, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America and Hospice of the Valley. Interment was at Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Services have been held.
