Monte R. Allen, 84, died December 15, 2015. Monte served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Lakehurst, NJ and Litchfield Park, AZ. He earned his doctorate at Denver University and was a professor of Education at ISU for twelve years. Monte and family then moved to Arizona where he served as an academic advisor at ASU West for seven years. He was preceded in death by his sister. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Allen, two children, four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and two brothers. A private family service will be held at Shadow Rock Church on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 12:30 followed by an 'all are welcome' Celebration of Life at his daughter's house at 1:00pm.
