Minutes for October 11, 2022

The ASURA Board of Directors met on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  This was our first in-person meeting in over 2 years!  On the agenda for discussion was the review of the current financial report.  Barry reported that $5K was transferred from the operating account to the scholarship fund. Jan reported that the scholarship has been posted and that she and the Scholarship Committee would be meeting after the first of the year (2023) to start reviewing applicants.  The October open enrollment seminar was held on October 6, 2022 with representatives from AARP and ASRS presenting.  ADOA will be presenting in a separate seminar being held on October 17, 2022. The Travel Committee confirmed that the Northern Arizona trip was a go with 13 people participating.  Carl presented the latest information on membership. 

NOTE:  The November 8, 2022 meeting has been moved to Tuesday November 15, 2022 and will be held “in person”  It will be a hybrid meeting with Zoom connectivity for those who cannot attend in person.  It will be held in CSB 203A.
