Minutes for October 10, 2023

The October Board meeting was held on October 10, 2023.  A review of the financial report was made. There was considerable discussion on what we can do to get introductory members to renew and participate in the ASURA.  Along with that, was discussion on how we can get the membership, in general, more involved in the events and activities of the ASURA.  Suggestions ranged from looking into having regional events, such as having locations in other parts of the valley where the members could gather to view the seminars to having the Board members personally invite 4-5 members each to some of the social events, like the holiday potluck, etc.  Suggestions for speakers for the annual meeting were presented.  A list of potential speakers will be sent to the Board members to vote on who should be selected.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:00 am in CSB 203A.
