Minutes for January 2025
The scholarship committee is receiving a record number of applications this year, probably due to a new scholarship system deployed by ASU. The second half of the current scholarship is being given to a new candidate as the initial person dropped out of school. The ASURA financials are in good shape and some financial operations are being streamlined.
The office space hunt continues and nothing is settled yet, but we have to move out of CSB “soon”. A new, improved Bylaws will happen sometime this Spring. Seminars are happening with high turnouts and exciting topics. AZ Legislature is in session so bills are being watched by the Legislative Committee.
