"Mickey" Edward Espinoza Gracia

"Mickey" Edward Espinoza Gracia, 89, passed away on February 20, 2013. Mickey grew up in the Mexican area of Gilbert, known as Sonora Town. He was orphaned at a young age. He lost his father at 5 years of age and his mother when he was 15. A WWII veteran he served in the Army Air Corps. He worked at Williams Air Force Base as a Base Supply Inspector for 32 years. After retirement he started his second career as a ticket taker and supervisor for nearly every sports event and concert held at ASU during the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen, two daughters, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and other relatives. He is preceded in death by a son. A Memorial service will be held March 2, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2066 E Don Carlos, Tempe, AZ. 85281.
