Just this past May, 15 ASURA Retirees went to Russia and had 15 days of eye-opening, mind-boggling learn-ing. We toured St Petersburg, learning about the Czars and their influence on Russian history. We then cruised in our riverboat on the Volga for roughly 1,000 miles, stopping to visit villages, churches and museums enroute to Moscow. There we visited Red Square, learned what a Kremlin really is and toured many cathedrals and palaces. Every day is a school day!
